Mind – Gym

How would you define the mind-gym?

The mind gym is a wealth of practical techniques to help people to think more effectively to get the most out of life.  It’s an energizing way to get more out of life and give more to others.  The Mind Gym takes a very different approach to transforming people's behavior at work. This approach delivers results like no other. And it costs a lot less in terms of both time and money.

How is this possible?  By thinking differently, of course.

What’s the purpose of this workshop?

To help employees to find practical ways to use their minds more effectively so that they can get more out of life and give to others.

By the end of this course, participants  will have:

§         Explored the key components of the mind-gym process

§         Understood  why taking control of your own identity remains critically important

§         The right attitude and behavior, that makes the right impression

§         Identified triggers that make for tough conversations and how to assertively

§         Learned to create an environment for people to let their creativity flow

§         Understand the thought process of the creative logical thinker vs. the creative free thinker

§         Experienced a stress and relaxation moment

Who’s the target audience?

Between 40-50 employees combining senior, middle and lower management cadre and cutting across functional lines (front end, back office, IT, finance, security, HR)

As a result of this course, we become more likely to:

§         Achieve more in less time

§         Gain energy and have less negative stress

§         Resolve difficult challenges

§         Win people round to our point of view

§         Enjoy life

10 critical areas of the Mind-gym

1.     Jump start

Everything you wanted to know about procrastination but hadn't quite got round to asking. One chapter you shouldn't put off reading.

2.     Lucky you

Attentive optimism - a mindset that helps you achieve more and live longer. Have you got it?

3.     Influence

Discover the nine primary influencing tactics and how to combine them to maximise your chances of winning people round to your point of view.

4.     The joy of stress

Some stress is good for us; some is deeply damaging. Discover how to spot the difference and so end up with more of the former and none of the latter.

5.     Creativity for logical thinkers

Simple techniques that use logical thinking to come up with off-the-wall ideas - ideal for those who don't think they are creative but want to be.

6.     Taking control

One of the most significant discoveries in contemporary psychology is that we choose how we think. How good are your choices?

7.     The right impression

When it comes to making an impression, it's how the other person interprets our behaviour that counts. Are they seeing what you want them to see?

8.     Tough conversations

When the conversation gets tough, the tough get over it because they know exactly how to keep things calm and on track. Do you?

9.     Stress and relaxation

Stress is like calories: too much or too little and we're in trouble but enough of the right kind and we're fighting fit. How healthy is your stress diet?

10. Creative juices

There's no such thing as someone who isn't creative, just someone who's forgotten how. Use these tools to get your creative juices flowing (again).
